About this role:

As the Marketing Manager for Law Enforcement Markets, you’ll be responsible for launching and managing demand generation strategies to support SaaS sales in the Police and Sheriff’s office verticals. You’ll be a storyteller and a data nut; identifying state-level growth opportunities and craft messaging to win more business. Additionally, you will work with the Product Marketing Manager in developing and bringing new products to market in the Law Enforcement space. This role calls for a careful strategizer, and someone with experience managing others in the execution of complex marketing strategies - including web content (e.g. blogs), webinars, promotional emails, and trade shows.

What you would do in this role:

  • In conjunction with the Product Marketing Manager, create and lead go to market strategies for our SaaS solution that increase market share among Police and Sheriff agencies
  • Work to define target market - the size or population, buyers, etc. - to guide marketing efforts in key verticals
  • Define key messaging, product benefits and pricing to key markets
  • Develop detailed marketing plans that generate viable, sales-ready leads in Law Enforcement markets
  • Manage Shared Service team in the execution of marketing activities - trade shows, email, PR, etc. - that comprise the vertical marketing strategies you create
  • Define core KPIs that will determine successful growth in Law Enforcement markets
  • Create and lead go to market strategies, including cost and pricing structure, for new products.


What you need to know/have for this role:

  • B.S. or B.A. in Business or equivalent work experience; MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience in SaaS or technology
  • Demonstrated history of success creating and launching multi-channel marketing plans to support lead generation
  • Works well in fast-growing, entrepreneurial and sometimes loosely-defined or ambiguous corporate structures.
  • Experience in the public sector or law enforcement strongly preferred
  • Multi-tasker extraordinaire
  • Plays well with others
  • Rolls easily with an ever changing environment


Physical/Mental Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc., and may infrequently require moving materials weighing up to 30 pounds. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
