Senior Front-End Web Developer - Marketing

About this role:

Our Demand Generation/Marketing Team is looking for an experienced, proven, and senior-level front-end developer who loves to build exceptional web marketing applications and experiences for web visitors that are engaging and user-friendly. If you care just as much about the experience of the product as you do concerning the quality of the code you write, this is your gig.

What you would do in this role:

  • Estimate effort for architecture, design, and development tasks
  • Help build and maintain company marketing website
  • Optimize the PowerDMS website and free trial experience to maximize conversions to demo requests and product trials
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary web marketing team to bring layout, image, text, code, and landing page recommendations to life
  • Conduct user studies to better understand the end-user preferences that inform web design strategy
  • Collaborate with co-workers to establish front-end conventions, principles, and patterns
  • Work with UX team to implement and bring to life mocks and designs
  • Build and maintain email designs optimized for mobile and major email clients
  • Implement designed mockups as production-ready code (including the slicing of images and exporting into proper formats)


What you need to know/have for this role:

  • 3-5 years’ experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, and responsive web development
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with PHP
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with Wordpress CMS platform
  • 3-5 years’ experience working with Javascript / jQuery
  • Working experience with SASS CSS preprocessor
  • Working experience with Git/Github
  • Working experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Multi-tasker extraordinaire
  • Plays well with others
  • Rolls easily with an ever changing environment


Physical/Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc., and may infrequently require moving materials weighing up to 30 pounds. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
