Email and Channel Marketing Manager

About this role:

We are looking for a savvy, experienced marketer to help lead our email marketing and part of our channel marketing efforts. This person will develop and execute an email strategy that helps nurture leads in our core markets and work closely with resellers to create marketing material that drives channel revenue.
 

What you would do in this role:

  • Collaborate with designers, product marketers, and sales professionals to produce email content that meets the needs of stakeholders and our audience.
  • Vendor management and implementation of our marketing automation platform, Marketo
  • Serve as strategic advisor for e-mail and marketing automation programs; collaborate with key stakeholders in sales, marketing and business development to conceptualize campaign strategy, requirements and design
  • Mange all aspects of automation programs and execution, including list segmentation, e-mail creation, workflow development, quality assurance, scoring models, reporting and optimization
  • Build and manage project plans; partner closely with content and other digital marketing colleagues to build campaign assets
  • Build and maintain campaign calendars and standardized reports to facilitate collaboration between sales and marketing
  • Work with value-added resellers and Resell Team to create content - slicks, case studies and more - that help our partners drive revenue in the channel.
  • Collaborate with Resell team on channel training, promotions and incentives that help drive incremental channel revenue.

  

What you need to know/have for this role:

  • 5-7 years’ applicable experience
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related
  • Experience working in and with enterprise-level marketing automation systems like Marketo (preferred) or other (e.g. Eloqua) required
  • Verifiable and demonstrated experience planning and producing content for email and print
  • Healthcare and government industry marketing experience preferred
  • Experience successfully enabling and equipping resellers or channel partners to drive revenue
  • A dual-minded approach: You’re highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.

Physical/Mental Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc., and may infrequently require moving materials weighing up to 30 pounds. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
