About this role:

We’re searching for a PMP Certified Project Manager to oversee multiple cross-functional projects. This SuperPM will harness the power of excellent interpersonal skills in order to develop, lead, and drive detailed, cross-functional projects through full delivery life-cycle ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery for our Build, Sales, Support, and Corporate Operations stakeholders and teams.


What you would do in this role:

  • Prepare and present high-level plans for cross-functional leaders and stakeholders with estimates based on predicted outcomes.
  • Ensure proactive scheduling of key deliverables, milestones, and deliverable tasks.
  • Establish project financial forecasts including resource plans and other expense plans.
  • Create full-scale master project schedules and communication plans consisting of multiple projects or components.
  • Work with cross-discipline team members to validate project assumptions and constraints and review project plans with key stakeholders.
  • Communicate regular status updates to stakeholders on delivery progress, plan updates, budget spend, and forecasts.
  • Monitor adherence to master schedule and milestone commitments, escalating key issues and exposing risks to ensure timely resolution, mitigation, and prevention of scope creep.
  • Review completed projects with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards.
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project  cross-functional leaders as established during the planning phase.

What you need to know/have for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Business Administration or other relevant program strongly preferred.
  • PMP Certification required with extensive experience in the basics of project management (estimation, program and project planning, resource planning, issue management, risk management, change management, communication planning).
  • Minimum of three years’ applied experience mid-tier project management
  • Proficient with MS-Project or other project management tools, and MS-Office applications.
  • Experience with both Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Proven accomplishment as a driver of multiple projects managing individual project budgets and budget roll-up of multiple projects.
  • Able to work both collaboratively and independently while maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Practiced in negotiating with others in ways that result in win/win agreements and outcomes.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to juggle, shift gears, and maintain a sense of humor.
  •  Highly detail-oriented with excellent business communication, written, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
     

Physical/Mental Demands:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, bend, kneel, stoop, communicate, reach and manipulate objects. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis such as files, books, office equipment, etc., and may infrequently require moving materials weighing up to 30 pounds. Manual dexterity and coordination are required while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, calculator, and standard office equipment. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
